To build Ubosod (Ordination hall) of WatNongphong temple.

B.E.2567 Working on outer part of Ubosod. Basement level, rooms and ceiling. Main door and window's frame. Aaw-Khan (Waist bowl) base with layers covered around Ubosod.

2 Naga statues finished. Construction cost 300,000 thb.

Consecrate Buddha statue(Fully booked) and amulet/bracelet release during Trimas monk-lend season B.E.2567(2024).

 

October B.E.2567(2024). Donation 129,998 thb. from oversea to build Ubosod(Ordination hall).

When Ubosod and temple is nearly complete. Let me write a thank you message to everyone. Let me talk about monks, about this master. Luangpor Teang and the shape of his ears. No. I'm not talking about his ear. :) This time I visit to temple I have opportunity to spend private dharma session with the monk. Luangpor Teang is 70 years old this year. It's a long talk and I asked him about spiritual experience while no other visitors at time. I can't go into details here because not everyone got it, doubt and curiousity doesn't all times turn out good and same with monk's precepts which not allow. As a lay-man I'm okay to say it. We talk like old friend, like master to student, monk to lay-man, man to man with trust. I'm going to make note here at this page as time passed by I may forget and this will jog my memory back about this monk. He told experiences about A butcher. Junior monk who leave too early. Pregnant woman. And a Boh's tree. I'll make sure it go to the right soul.

If you were one of those seeker like me. A boy that went to walk alone in the cemetery at night several times just to figure it out all those stories or legends passed down whether it's a lie to make people fear, believe and respect. And then you have discovered something on your own. Then you see me, we're the same. When I talked to the monk. That's what I understand about this guy, this monk. Just make sure it's the night of full moon. Or your head may hit the tombstone :).

My father taught me one thing when I was very young. He said that there is one kind of people that going to hell the most. They are monk. I didn't understand back there. All these years I have been studied, listened and see many masters, many monks. There are many good monk. Same with many bad monk. I am grateful on this journey that I have experienced all three of Buddhism's miracle in life. It's wonderful and amazed how long it had been passed down through generations.

Since there already are many stories of good sage, good monks here on this website I'm going for the opposite. First. Monk is but a man and man is a monk. No one is perfect, we learned, growth, experienced to be worst or better person. You know sinner has a future thing, but don't let it be too late. Let's me type down about what I learned about bad monks through years of experiences.

Some monk 100% politic, all about rank. Some temple build so big, millions of baht deep in the mountain but make none nor small benefit. Some temple very small, simple, make so much benefit to people and religion. Some monk recieved so much donation but never for personal gain while some received small but kept it all for himself. Some monk 100% lay-man just wearing a yellow robe for free foods and accomodation. Some very greedy and all about money. Some all but lies. Some are all about miracle story, advertisement with fame and big groupies folks promoting behind. Some crave for woman or delicious foods. Some are expert, master class in dharma theology but know nothing about mind and spiritual, thus easily sways by temptation. Some treat rich and poor differently. Some misunderstand the teaching of dharma and stray from the path. Some craving never enough never ends about merit and want to make so much goodness in the world. Some only obsessed in the doctrine and disrespect other people's way. Some got the touch and blessing by the force and use it in the wrong way. And so on... maybe other days I could remember few more. And you wonder why they still do it. Simple answer. Because it is easy and they don't know. yet.

Now what is good monk. Or a good soul. It is simple. It's about hell. Good monk understand the path to hell. Clearly. The fear of hell. That's the blessing because none of the above can come close to you. The hard part is how can you actually, fully know that hell and soul exist, not just a switch turn-off when died or question answer. :)

Now I always have emails asking me about this on HOW? or REALLY?. Even customers. All of your wonder and curiousity. Why would I tell you? What if I get penalty telling heaven's secret. Pave your own road man. If I tell you this water taste real and so fresh. What's a point when you havn't taste it yourself.

Back to the subject of this note. Good monk is rare and I have seen too many. Being a monk and uphold precept is not easy. It is sacred. Luangpor Teang is fine. He is a good monk and good man. His soul is and will belong in the right place. It is my honor that I have found this place to build and support a temple since start when there is not even a wall. In gratitude toward ancestor, Buddha, the land and religion. Thank you for interest in amulet, in donation to religion from every corner of the world. May the road you walk be blessed with light, with many great souls and infinite happiness all the way.

For a good monk. I like to put in this old Thai saying.

"Distance prove a horse. And times prove a man".

Over distance you will find if a horse will carry.

And over times. You will find if a man remain truth.
