Wat Arunrachawarararm

Wat Arun or Wat Jaeng is the first class temple under the patronage of His Majesty the King. Figure and component are in the best shape. Prang, 82 meters in Khmer style, was constructed during the reign of King Rama 2nd, and King Rama 3rd. THe use of broken porcelain for temple ornamented was common in the early Rattanakosin period when Chinese ships calling at Bangkok used toned of old porcelain as ballast.
