Luangpor Toh Wat Bang Pli Yai Nai

This temple is called Bang Pli Yai Nai Temple, (Literally, Grand Temple in Bang Pli), or Luang Por To Temple, (Literally, Giant Buddha temple), because of the great size of the Buddha images in the chapel. Luangpor To is one of the Buddha images floating in the river and people brought it to the temple built for it. People called it Luangpor To (Giant Buddha) because this one is bigger than other images floating together. This temple was built in the reign of King Naret the Great of Siam.
