Wat Phra Puttabaat

The first class temple under patronage of His Majesty the King. Built in A.D.1624, around Ayutthaya period.

Buddha Footprint : Discovered in the time of King Songtham A.D.1624-1628. It is about 21 inches deep. King Songtham built the mondop to enshrine the Buddha Footprint. The exterior walls of the mondop are gilded and decorated with pieces of glasses. Around the mondop are many bells, believing to remind people to make more merits.
