Itipiso bhagava - With this cause. So is the Blessed One,

araham - The one, whose mind is free from all defilements,

samma-sambuddho - the Perfectly Self-awakened One,

Vijja-carana-sampanno - impeccable in knowledge and conduct, accomplished in the conduct leading to awareness or cognitive skill,

Sugato - well-being, going (or gone) to a good destination, the Accomplished One,

Lokavidu - the Knower of the Worlds,

Anuttaro purisa-damma-sarathi – the Supreme Trainer of those wishing to be trained,

sattha deva-manussanam - the Teacher of divine and human beings,

Buddho - the Awakened One, Enlightened and Holy,

Bhagavati – the Blessed One.
