Bangsukun means bank of dust, pile of dust, mixed with dust, soiled with dust. It is a word used to refer to the cloth that monks pull out from corpses during the start of B.E. Or the cloth that is thrown in front of the corpse. During that time, monks had to search for discarded cloth from garbage heaps or from cemeteries to make robes to wear. Most of those cloths are dusty or dirty.
