Buddha statue Parng Perd-Loka(Buddha open worlds posture).
The open world posture is the Buddhha standing on a lotus. Both hands hand down beside his body. Opening his palm forward, revealing all worlds with Brahma and Indra by sides, Mokalana/Sarebuddha praying.
At the end of three months periods after Buddha ascended to bless his mother during Buddhist-Lent. Therefore he descended down from Daodueng heaven. The Buddha then blessing miracle, that is, he opened the 3 worlds. Heaven, Hell, Human's realms. To be able to see them altogethher. The angels in heaven saw humans and the beasts of the underworld. Human see angels and hell beasts. The beasts of the underworld saw human and angels.
The blessing and meaning of Buddha's posture is the law of karma. Good and Evils. It is when Buddha shown all being with his blessing, which is dharma.
Handicraft, made of teak wood. Bless/chanted B.E.2564-2565 over 2 years at WatNongphong temple with ceremonies and daily monks chanting. Lead ceremony by Luangpor Teang Puripunyo, abbot of WatNongphong temple.
