SumPao Ship. Three Jewels (Treasure) Ship. In Chinese Tradition, Sum Pao has three kinds of meanings. Firstly, it is refer to the Cheng Ho, the greatest Ming Dynasty navy captian. His nake name was "Sum Pao Chief", meaning three jewels captain; the captain name given by the Emperor of Ming Dynasty. The Sum Pao chief's fleet was over hundreds of ships.

Secondly, it's the meanings of the three jewels. The 3 jewels refer to the 3 categories of treasuries, the Sum Pao chief brought back each time from his voyage. The first jewel refer to money value items as, gold, silver ; the second jewel refer to the treasure items as coral, diamond, pearl, art piece, cultural items, animals, human beings, things never seen before; and the third jewel refer to the new bond relationship, historic friendship he made with other nations, tribes and people. Thridly, Sum Pao Ship, refer to the vayage of Buddhist's Three Jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

Some Chinese refer these as the Eternity, Wisdom and Friendship of Buddhist life. No matter what, whichever the meaning of the above said you like, Sum Pao Ship, refer to good blessing in our time too.
